Partnering with DataBee at the Gartner Security Summit 2025: Key Takeaways
We were delighted to be alongside our valued partner DataBee (a Comcast Company) at this year’s Gartner Security Summit. It was very exciting to engage with industry peers, prospects, and visionaries shaping the future of cyber security.
Some highlights and reflections from the event:
🔒 Emerging threat vectors and zero trust momentum One recurring theme in our conversations: attackers are increasingly combining traditional tactics (phishing, ransomware) with more subtle, long-duration intrusion strategies (living-off-the-land, supply-chain weaknesses). This makes the shift to zero trust, not just as an architecture, but as an operational mindset, ever more critical.
📊 Data-centric security and observability As enterprises generate, store, and process data across increasingly complex environments (cloud, edge, hybrid), protecting the data itself becomes more central than ever. Attendees are pushing beyond perimeter defences, focusing on data lineage, classification, and continuous monitoring.
🤝 Collaboration, not siloed working Whether chatting with fellow vendors, practitioners, or consultants, one thing is clear: security can’t operate in a vacuum. We talked about integrated ecosystems, shared intelligence, and the need for cross-team alignment (security, engineering, DevOps, risk). The ability to move fast securely is only possible when barriers between teams are lowered.
🚀 HOOP Cyber in action It’s been energising to talk about our solutions in the exhibition hall, listen to feedback, answer tough questions, and validate that our direction is resonating with real-world needs. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the DataBee stand, it has been great to meet and speak to you all.
📌 Looking ahead As the summit continues, we’re especially excited about diving deeper into conversations about AI/ML-driven defence, identity-centric architectures, and advanced threat hunting. We hope to leave with even more insights, new contacts, and collaborative opportunities.
With huge thanks to the DataBee team for inviting us.
